What is G-MARK Certification?

The Gulf Conformity mark, also known as G-mark is a certification mark used to indicate products that conform to all technical regulations of the Gulf Cooperation Council. It means that the G-marked products meet all requirements of the corresponding technical regulations and have passed all conformity assessment procedures. The mark was introduced in 2009. BSI has been appointed as a Notified Body by the Gulf Standards Organization (GSO) and Gulf Cooperative Council (GCC). This appointment means that BSI is able to test and certify low voltage electrical equipment for the Gulf mark scheme which is mandated in the countries that form the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) namely Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, and Yemen.

The Gulf Conformity Mark (G-Mark) is a specific marking of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). It is affixed to a product and/or its packaging to indicate that the product is in compliance with requirements set out in the applicable Gulf Technical Regulations.
